7. EVENT CANCELLATION + MODIFICATION

In these Policies, “Event Organizer” means PTO Commercial, LLC, as holder of the event rights, and Earl US, LLC, as event operator, together with their respective affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, successors and assigns.

The Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon may be canceled, postponed, rescheduled, relocated, shortened, modified or otherwise altered due to circumstances outside the Event Organizer’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, extreme weather, ocean, tidal or water-quality conditions, government or regulatory action, denial or revocation of permits, labor action, public health emergency, acts or threats of terrorism, safety concerns or other unforeseen circumstances.
